A blood test can say a lot about your health condition. By means of such tests the function of different organs such as the kidneys, liver, thyroid, and heart and your overall physical condition can be evaluated. Thus, further health risks can be avoided. FBS or BS, CBC, PT, PTT, INR, KIV (AB), HBS (AB), BLOOD GROUP RH, and ANTI HCR, PLTs, Prothrombin Time (measuring how long it takes for blood to clot), basic metabolic panel (Used to check your sugar (glucose) level, electrolyte and acid/base balance, and kidney function), lipid panel (a test measuring your lipid level), liver panel (Checking the function of your liver) are some of the commonly used blood tests. There are some hormone tests as well which measures the hormone levels in your blood. Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH) is a widely used test to measure the amount of TSH in your blood.
